Application Programming Interface (API) to connect trading system
Trading members can access to TFEX trading system via 2 trading protocols; EMAPI (Proprietary protocol) and FIX 5.0 SP2. Each trading channel connected to TFEX needs API to connect to the trading system together with the throttle control. Throttle is the rate of transactions per second (TPS) that each member is allowed to submit the order. One throttle for TFEX is 10 TPS. Members can specify the number of throttles for each trading channel to suit their trading activity.
TFEX members can request the trading API for placing order via the order management system (OMS) which must be certified by TFEX. The list of certified ISVs and certificate procedure are available via certified ISV .
