TFEX launches Mini Gold Online Futures on May 25

Thailand Futures Exchange pcl (TFEX) announced the launch of Mini Gold Online 
Futures (MGO), a new tool designed to meet the growing demand for gold
investment. This product launch aims to make global gold trading more
accessible, allowing investors to manage their portfolios with greater agility
and lower capital requirements.

Mini Gold Online Futures offers a compact contract size of approximately 1 troy 
ounce, effectively reducing the size, initial margin, and fees to one-tenth of
the standard Gold Online Futures, TFEX's most active precious metal contracts.
Despite the smaller scale, the product continues to track global 99.5% purity
gold prices and maintains a quanto feature, which is quoted in USD but settled
in baht using a fixed multiplier, effectively eliminating exchange rate risk.
Investors can capture global market movements through both day session (9.15
a.m. - 4.55 p.m.) and night session (6.45 p.m. - 3.00 a.m. the following
day)?with trading officially commencing on May 25, 2026, through all TFEX member
 brokers.
